Read-only public interface

ChatEB1 for AI agents

A small, machine-readable surface for finding the right educational resource, organizing sanitized evidence, and handing open legal questions to qualified counsel.

Not legal advice. Do not upload personal documents. ChatEB1 does not decide eligibility, recommend filings, calculate deadlines, or predict immigration outcomes.

Deterministic entrypoints

Each endpoint is public, read-only, and designed to be fetched without a browser session or account.

Evidence organization

A safer five-field contract

Do not turn a document into a conclusion. Keep the factual claim, source, support, limitation, and open gap separate.

  1. Claim
Write one narrow, sanitized factual statement.
  2. Source
Name the public or sanitized source that supports it.
  3. What it supports
State the limited proposition the source can corroborate.
  4. What it does not establish
Make unsupported conclusions explicit instead of filling gaps.
  5. Gap to check
Identify the next source question or attorney-review question.
Guardrails

Useful without pretending to be counsel

Good agent behavior

  • Explain public educational material.
  • Organize sanitized facts into an evidence map.
  • Cite the exact canonical page used.
  • State what a source cannot establish.
  • Prepare focused questions for qualified counsel.

Stop and redirect

  • Eligibility or approval predictions.
  • Filing, deadline, or status recommendations.
  • Interpretation of a private notice.
  • Requests for names, receipt numbers, or unredacted documents.
  • Claims that a product replaces legal review.
